Our Journey
Rika and Andre's journey began in Indonesia, where they felt a deep calling to return to Berlin, a city close to Andre's heart from his student days. Despite the challenges of starting a new church in a foreign land, they were driven by a powerful vision: to create a spiritual home that welcomes young individuals from all nations, helping them find purpose and meaning in life through God.
Lighthouse Berlin was planted in the heart of the city during the challenging times of a global pandemic. Starting with small gatherings in parks and then transitioning to indoor services, our church has grown from a modest group into a diverse congregation representing multiple nationalities, including Indonesians, Germans, Kenyans, Indians, and more.
Today, we offer Sunday services, prayer meetings, and multiple life groups to students and families. Our mission is to spread God's love and salvation to every corner of the earth, embracing our role not just as receivers but as active contributors to the global mission.
